Tarangire Day Safari

Two hours from Arusha and full of elephants. Tarangire's baobab-studded hills and river valley make for an easy, rewarding single day in the bush.

We drive the river loops in the morning, break for a picnic on a viewpoint, then work our way back through the woodland where the big herds gather.
